In this guest lecture, Lu Ming, distinguished professor of Antai College of economics and management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, executive director of China Development Research Institute and researcher of China Institute for Urban Governance, will share his view of "unified domestic market" and the development opportunities of the Yangtze River Delta region.

Distinguished professor of Antai College of economics and management, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of education, executive director of China Development Research Institute and researcher of China Institute for Urban Governance, and researcher of Shanghai Institute of International Finance and Economics. 

He once worked as a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University and the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), and as a part-time (guest) researcher employed by Fudan University, Singapore Management University, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and other domestic and foreign universities. He also served as a consulting expert of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. 

Author of the best-selling academic book “Great Nation Needs Bigger City”.

In August 2020, he attended the symposium of experts from the economic and social fields chaired by President Xi Jinping in Zhongnanhai as the youngest speaker, addressing important opinions and suggestions on China‘s development environment, ideas, tasks, and measures during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.
